Cookie & Browser Storage Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

Open World TV uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies to keep the service working, remember choices and support account and subscription functions.

1. Essential account, session and security storage

WordPress, Open World TV and SureCart may use cookies or browser/session storage to authenticate you, keep you signed in, protect forms and sessions, maintain account state, support checkout and subscription access, and prevent misuse. These technologies are used where necessary to provide functions you request or to keep the service secure.

2. Open World TV preferences and viewing state

Open World TV uses first-party browser storage for features such as interface language, favourites, recently viewed channels, content preferences, reminders, last-viewed channel and anonymous viewing allowance. Some of this information may also be associated with your account when you are signed in so that requested features can work across sessions.

3. Analytics

The Open World TV plugin does not currently configure an optional third-party analytics provider. If optional analytics is enabled later, this policy will be updated and any consent or opt-out control required by law will be provided.

4. Third-party checkout and services

SureCart and a payment provider may use their own cookies or similar technologies for checkout, fraud prevention, payment processing and customer-account functions. Their use of information is also governed by their own privacy information.

5. Your choices

Where consent is required for optional storage or access technologies, they will not be used until the required choice has been made. Where the law permits a specific exemption subject to notice and an easy objection, we may use that mechanism instead. You can also remove or block browser storage through your browser, but blocking essential technologies may prevent login, checkout, saved preferences or viewing-access controls from working correctly.
