Gift Subscription Terms

These terms apply to Open World TV gift codes sold by Open World TV, a trading name of LocServe Limited. They supplement the Open World TV Terms and Conditions.

1. What a gift provides

A standard gift provides 365 days of Open World TV viewing access after redemption. A gift is a fixed access entitlement, not an automatically renewing subscription.

2. Purchase and delivery

The purchaser makes a one-time payment through our commerce/payment provider. After payment is confirmed, the gift code is sent to the purchaser's checkout email address. The purchaser is responsible for giving the code to the intended recipient.

3. Redemption

Each gift code can be redeemed once. The recipient must provide and verify a valid email address so the gift can be associated with an Open World TV customer account. The recipient does not need to provide payment-card details to redeem the gift.

4. Existing access

If the recipient already has active paid, trial or previously redeemed gift access, the new gift period is normally queued after that existing access so unused time is not intentionally overwritten.

5. Renewal and trials

Gift access ends automatically at the end of its fixed period and does not renew. Redeeming a gift counts as introductory access, so a separate introductory free trial is not normally added later.

6. Codes

Gift codes should be treated like vouchers. Until redemption, anyone who possesses a valid code may be able to redeem it. We may disable a code that has been refunded, charged back, obtained fraudulently or otherwise cancelled.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer law and the circumstances of the transaction. A redeemed gift has already supplied or committed the access period and may not normally be refundable except where required by law. Contact support promptly if a gift was purchased in error.

8. Service availability

Gift access provides access to the Open World TV service during the entitlement period. Individual third-party channels, programme information and geographic availability may change as described in our Content & Streaming Notice.
